Born in Aix-en-Provence, Julien Tchernia has a rich, successful experience in creating companies. After working in France (Brittany & Burgundy), Poland and Italy, he was able to grow subsidiaries in France, Italy and Belgium, in highly competitive markets. In 2007 he went into the energy market and strived with determination to link business development with the struggle to reduce climate imbalance. Putting an end to his career in telecoms, he attended training courses in energy at the Ecole des Mines in Paris. After working in the energy field for other companies, he finally responded to the entrepreneurship appeal, and founded ekWateur with his partner, Jonathan Martelli, upon personal investment.
