James Lewis leads Schneider Electric’s cleantech advisory work in markets outside of the United States. James facilitates corporate PPAs in maturing renewable energy markets, such as Europe and India and also works with our clients to evaluate opportunities in emerging markets around the world.
Schneider Electric’s Energy and Sustainability Services group has helped its corporate clients transact over 5 GW of corporate PPAs around the world. James assists clients in Europe, Australia and India as those regions become increasingly attractive renewable energy markets. James has helped many organizations, including Hilton, Microsoft, UEFA, and WWF to achieve their sustainability objectives in countries around the world.
James has over 13 years of experience in sustainability with a background in sales, marketing, consulting, and research. Prior to Schneider Electric he was based in Sydney with South Pole Group, a provider of carbon offset and renewable energy certificate products, and he previously worked with the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology, Sydney.
Currently based in Boulder, Colorado, James has lived and worked in the UK, US, Australia, and France, and is a citizen of both the UK and Australia. He has a MSc Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London and a BA (Hons) in Geography and Management Studies from the University of Leeds.
