Born 1989, double degree master in International Energy Economics from the University of Leipzig and MGIMO Moscow and B.SC. in Economics from the University of Bonn. Worked for three years for Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt) which is Germany’s national competition regulator. Started to work in 2016 for the European Energy Exchange AG in the Corporate Strategy and M&A department in Leipzig. Since 2017, Gregor was working for Powernext (Part of the EEX Group) as a Business Developer in Paris. Powernext is operating 12 European gas markets in Europe and Gregor was responsible for International Market development and was leading the cooperation between PEGAS and CEGH focusing on central and eastern European gas market development. Since September 2019, Gregor is working at the Energy Community in Vienna as a Gas Market Expert. He is working on the extension of the EU internal energy market to South East Europe and beyond to create a sustainable pan-European Energy Market.
