Energy Capital Leaders Assembly

The  Energy Capital Leaders Assembly, taking place on the 13 November in Paris, addressed the evolution of energy players’ businesses and the financial industry. This year’s theme was ‘Mind the Gap’ - the narrative we use to describe the widening disparity between viable projects reaching FID and the funds available to be put to use in order to make a low carbon future a reality.

The Energy Council has partnered with European Utility Week and POWERGEN Europe, to create the ultimate end-to-end European energy experience for the whole energy supply chain.

Our focus is on corporate development. For a decade we have provided focused and targeted meeting programmes for some of the world’s largest investors. Through our proprietary One2One meeting format, participants can maximise their time out of the office with pre-arranged meetings with buy and sell-side participants.

The Energy Capital Leaders Assembly featured cash-generating asset owners, near-production developments, project generators and other exciting projects. By providing an exclusive forum that connects senior energy executives, financiers and investors, we were able to offer an event that is rich in buy-side, including institutional investors, pension funds, fund managers, asset managers, private equity, multilaterals, utilities, supply and services companies and integrated energy companies.

The Energy Capital Leaders Assembly welcomed senior leaders from utilities & energy companies, as well as the industry’s top financiers and investment executives to focus on the widening disparity between viable projects reaching FID and the funds available to be put to use in order to make a low carbon future a reality.
