We facilitate connections on every level of the utility industry between international delegations and their European counterparts.
25th of June – 1st of July, Silicon Valley, California, USA
In 2017, the US was selected as partner country for European Utility Week 2017 and as part of the programme we partnered with Greentech Media to help facilitate unparalleled business networking opportunities between European and US utilities.
European Utility Week organised a European utility delegation to visit the US during GTM’s annual event Grid Edge World Forum (GEW). The delegation traveled to the Silicon Valley, California, USA, from the 25th of June to the 1st of July 2017. Utilities were able to meet with their US counterparts, attend selected site visits to PG&E, Silicon Valley Power, Silicon Valley Clean Energy and Mercedes-Benz, and exchange ideas on achieving a successful energy transition.
3rd - 5th of October, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
From the European energy industry, whether a solution provider, association, consultant or utility, there is a strong interest to connect with other utilities outside of Europe. To facilitate this we designed a programme which hosts international delegations and connects them to their European counterparts to share best practice.
80+ utility delegations attended, and EUW17 hosted over 12 utility delegations that came from outside of the European Continent: Smart Electric Power Alliance (USA), HHBexpo (Turkey), PPI Pazifik Power (Phillipines), TNB (Malaysia), Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Electricité (Côte d'Ivoire), KVA SAL (Lebanon), Singapore Power (Singapore), K-Electric (Pakistan) and multiple utilities from India, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates have send their delegations to EUW17 to get more familiar with the European Energy Sector.
