“You have never ceased to impress us on how you manage to make the event more interesting every year.”
Marvin Gonsalves, Manila Electric Company
European Utility Week brings together three previously co-located events: Metering, Billing/CRM Europe, Transmission & Distribution/Smart Grids Europe and Smart Homes under one single banner. Bringing together these three events brings greater cohesion to the event – thus helping to cement its place as Europe’s landmark smart energy conference and exhibition – as well as offer new options to expand the conference programme into unexplored territory.
NEW THIS YEAR
For the 2013 event we shall be giving new and extensive coverage to the theme of renewables integration and storage solutions, an issue which has become central to the meter-deployment and grid-update narrative in recent years particularly. Other new topics include a specialist track on grid security and a new feature on smart cities.
In addition to a new brand image and topics, we are designing a conference and exhibition with a different feel. This year interactive audience engagement features much more prominently in the conference programme via a number of different formats. There will also be much more showcasing of technological solutions on the exhibition floor, thus allowing for more strategic and high level discussion topics in the conference programme.
European Utility Week will deliver a cross section of innovative smart energy projects, deployments and research papers from across the world, each of which have been carefully selected based on the recommendations of our 50+ strong committee and extensive research besides.
Beyond the top quality learning opportunities presented at this event, an audience of 300+ utility companies plus 8000+ attendees will ensure this event maintains its reputation as a world class networking event.
