Dutch Programme

Renewable energy and energy efficiency have a huge standing in The Netherlands and the country is especially leading in wind energy at sea, biomass processing and greenhouse farming. The government has taken a very clear stance on a modern industry policy and the country has vowed to half CO2 emissions by 2050 and generate 40 percent of their electricity from sustainable sources.

Check out how the different 2017 Programmes featured Dutch projects, speakers and organisations sharing how they are leading the energy transition! We are proud to have had top speakers join us from The Netherlands, including Manon Janssen, Chair of Topsector Energie and CEO of Ecorys in The Netherlands, Ingrid Thijssen, CEO of Alliander, Patrick Lammers, CEO of Essent, and Peter Hermans, CTO of Stedin.
